Freedom Fighters by Johnny Kerner is a modification for Arma Reforger (a tactical military sandbox game developed by Bohemia Interactive). This project introduces a new, self-titled game mode revolving around guerrilla warfare. It is designed for solo play and co-op with 2 to 8 players.

Since its launch in August 2025, the project has been downloaded more than 100,000 times.

FF is a persistent campaign spanning 10 to 60 hours of gameplay, depending on the terrain and difficulty settings. It combines sandbox gameplay with an objective-based campaign. The goal is to capture or neutralize all enemy points of interest on the map in any order, but it can also be played indefinitely due to its emergent gameplay style. Whether you want to conduct 8-hour-long ops over several months in a persistent campaign with your squad or jump in for a quick 30-minute supply run twice a week, both playstyles are viable.

The project took part in the official Make Arma Not War 2025 competition and was awarded first place in the Playable Content category.
