Contributing

Right now, the project is not looking for contributors, and we do not accept code (or other forms of contribution) to the core add-on. This is because coordinating a team effort, properly onboarding additional developers to the existing architecture, and ensuring consistency and quality across the codebase requires effort we do not currently have the capacity for.

Additionally, properly handling copyright transfer requires signed physical paperwork (and involves significant legal service costs, especially internationally). This creates a level of overhead we do not want to take on. On the other hand, neglecting this introduces the risk of someone “rug-pulling” and endangering project development.

We are, however, more than happy to support additional downstream mods that expand FF.

Contrib repository

A public Git repository is available for submitting contributions to translations and integrations. If you’re familiar with Git, you can contribute directly there. Otherwise, feel free to get in touch with us for assistance.
